Open Coordinator Roles:

Web Photos

Do you love photos and want to help ensure that the team has a solid photo archive? Do you want to have a set job to knock out many of your service hours?

If so, consider taking on the Web Photo position. This position is responsible for posting current photos to the PST website and ensuring photos are archived correctly for future use. This person is responsible for collecting photos from the community that will capture all meets from beginner to expert.

This position fulfills five service hours. If interested, please email Anne at secretary@piedmontswimteam.org

Preparing for the 2025-26 Season:

For existing families who have another child who is interested in joining PST, we will be hosting tryouts on Tuesday, August 19th through Thursday, August 21st at the Montclair Swim Club. For details, tryout expectations, and to secure a spot on the tryout list, please email Kelley at  joinpst@piedmontswimteam.org.

The new season will start on Monday, August 18, for the Titanium Group and on Saturday, August 23, for our Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Year Round High School (YRHS) groups. The first term for our Green Group will begin on Monday, August 25.

Latest change July 21st, 2025

There have been a few changes to our practice timetable since it was initially published in our handbook. Please visit  our website for the latest version. Changes were made to the Gold, Platinum, and Titanium schedules. 

Coaching Staff

Roster Groups

The coaches have met multiple times after the registration deadline passed to assign groups for the 2025/2026 season. After numerous back-and-forth discussions, we believe the following  roster assignments will benefit both the groups and the individual swimmers. Also noted are the lead coaches for each group.

Team Banquet:

Our annual Team Banquet for the 2024 - 2025 Season will be held on Wednesday, August 20th. All PST members and their families are invited to this end of season celebration.

7 - 8:15 Award Presentations

Safe Sport- SAVE THE DATE:

Save the date: Saturday, Sept. 6 PST will host a mandatory in-person Safe Sport training with Michael Mares, USA Swimming Safe Sport Manager, Education & Resolution. 

This is our second annual in-person training after receiving positive feedback from parents, athletes and coaches last year. This in-person session is a great way to complete your mandatory Safe Sport training. Reminder: all PST families are required to have at least one parent/guardian and all athletes 13 & up complete USA Swimming Safe Sport training every year. 

Thank you for helping ensure PST stays Safe Sport certified and promotes a healthy environment for all!

This Week’s Top Tip:

Our summer break is a marvelous opportunity for our swimmer to take a mental and physical break from our beloved sport. We are encouraging everyone to stay active with activities that have nothing to do with swimming! This mental break and cross training opportunity will serve your athletes well when the new season starts!

TODAY, Sunday, August 3rd: Last practice of the 24/25 swim season and Coach Rob’s official last practice before his well-earned and deserved retirement. To give him a big send-off, all groups will be swimming at Mills from 8:00 to 10:00 am.

Practices at ECCL are cancelled.
