| Save the date: Saturday, Sept. 6 PST will host a mandatory in-person Safe Sport training with Michael Mares, USA Swimming Safe Sport Manager of Education & Resolution, at Ellen Driscoll Auditorium in Piedmont. This is our second annual in-person training after receiving positive feedback from parents, athletes and coaches last year. This in-person session is a great way to complete your mandatory Safe Sport training. Reminder: all PST families are required to have at least one parent/guardian and all athletes 13 & up complete USA Swimming Safe Sport training every year. 9/6 In-person Training Schedule @ Ellen Driscoll Auditorium:
- 9-9:30 am: 12 and under athletes + at least one parent/guardian*
- 9:45-10:45 am: 13 and over athletes + at least one parent/guardian*
*If a parent/guardian has athletes in both the U12 and 13+ age groups, the parent/guardian is only required to attend one session. 9/6 Parent/Swimmer social @ Havens blacktop (through breezeway, behind Ellen Driscoll):
- 9:30 - 11:30 am: parents and swimmers are encouraged to come for a social with food and drink. New members are especially encouraged to attend to meet other families and have the chance to informally ask questions about practices, participating in meets, volunteering, etc.
