March 28-29 PST Hosted C/B/BB+ Meet

Next weekend, PST will be hosting a Zone 2 short course C/B/BB+ meet at Mills. This will be like most of the meets we attend, only this time we are hosting it.

Operationally, this will be very similar to our Block Party/Club Champs meets where we are responsible for the running of the meet. What is different is that other teams will help with the timing shifts.

VOLUNTEER NEEDS

Volunteer jobs will open on our website tomorrow night (Monday, March 23rd) at 8 p.m. and will close Wednesday, March 25th at midnight.  All open, unfilled jobs will be assigned. 

Please be prepared to fill one slot per swimmer entered in the meet, if not more.

SET UP NEEDS

Titanium/Platinum families, please consider signing up to bring canopies and dropping them off Friday morning at practice. 

If you have a high school swimmer swimming at Mills on Friday afternoon, please sign up to assist with set up. Many hands will make light work

Parking will be tight, so please leave plenty of time to arrive. Also please consider carpooling.

Meet Directors

Officials Needed!

Are you interested in learning about how to become a USA Swimming Official (wearing white shirts and blue pants)?

There are two types of officials:
Stroke and Turn: These officials are stationed around the pool at meets and judge compliance with USA Swimming stroke and turn rules.

Adminsitration: These officials help behind the scenes with swim meet administration.

We are required to provide a specific number of Officials at Swim Meets, and our club is fined if we don’t meet these requirements. Right now we don't have enough officials to comfortably meet our requirements.

PST is looking for volunteers interested in starting the training process. This involves an online training course followed by an apprenticeship on the pool deck. You do not need to be a swimmer yourself to become an official! Additionally, officials receive a dues reduction on their swimmers registration with the team.

Sat & Sun: 3/28-29: C/B/BB Meet (host: PST).  PST-hosted Zone 2 meet at Mills. 145 PST Swimmers are registered to compete.

With so many PST swimmers competing, it is imperative that swimmers arrive at their scheduled warm-up time!

All of our Coaches have days off, and during those days, they will not check their work messages. We aim to respond to emails within 48 hours; however, please be patient if we don’t.
