Age Group Program Update

The past couple of months have been an exciting stretch for our Age Group track. Silver and Gold have been working hard, playing hard, and stepping confidently into new challenges. We launched our updated dryland program, and while it’s pushed swimmers in fresh ways, it’s also helped them build skills that directly support their growth in the water. On top of that, Run Club has been a blast—whether it’s logging laps on the track with Zach or learning volleyball fundamentals from Amanda Bible (Kai Smolnik’s mom), swimmers are getting new spaces to shine.

Silver Group has been diving into high-level race skills, from refining their underwaters to exploring breath control. We’ve seen swimmers hold their breath for 1:54 and others stay underwater for two full laps, which is an incredible display of focus and discipline.

Gold Group has been intentionally slowing things down to sharpen technique as we head toward championship season. You’ll see a lot of drill work, refinement, and thoughtful repetition as they build on lessons from the last two meets.

Both groups continue to drop time, build confidence, and have a ton of fun along the way. Our next Run Club adventure will take us on a hike through Skyline—another chance to grow as athletes and teammates.

Club Championships

Registration is now open for our 2026 Club Championships!

We encourage every swimmer—from Green through Titanium—to participate. This meet is designed to be a blast, and even our youngest athletes will find the full program manageable and fun.

Once registration closes, coaches will draft swimmers into teams according to the rules for the meet. To build team spirit, we will hold Team Practices on May 2nd, May 16th, and May 23rd. During these sessions, swimmers will meet their teammates and coaches, choose team names and cheers, and receive their event assignments. They’ll also work on strategy, stroke technique with senior swimmers, and relay exchanges.

During registration, please indicate which dates your swimmer can attend. While we truly hope all 190 PST members can join us for all three sessions, we understand if schedules vary. Let’s make this a month to remember!

Despite major upgrades to our meet—including touchpads, spirit awards, and club record recognition—we are thrilled to announce that registration is just $60 per athlete. This is made possible by the incredible fundraising efforts of Kira and her team during the PST Piranha Party. We are proud to offer an enhanced experience while keeping costs lower than last year for our families.
