Head Coach Update: Meet Volunteers Needed - Let’s Finish Strong!

Dear Piedmont Families,

First, a huge thank you to those who have already gone above and beyond their required service hours. Your extra dedication keeps our swimmers swimming!

As we head into the summer peak, please keep these essential rules in mind:

  • Registration = Volunteering: If your swimmer is competing, you must volunteer for a shift.
  • Even if You're "Done": Even if you have already met your seasonal hour requirement, we still need your help at every meet your child attends.
  • The Stakes: Without a full crew (timers, officials, canopy setup), the team faces fines or the meet cannot proceed.

Upcoming Highlights: We are hosting Club Champs and co-hosting RESL Championships! These are the best meets of the year, but they only happen if everyone chips in—not just the same few families.

The kids show up for practice every day so they can compete. Let's show up for them for these final few meets! We are so grateful for your support and the contributions of our amazing community.

2026 Club Championships: Results

After an emotional, exciting, and intense two-hour draft on Thursday, the teams for our Club Championships (May 29–31) have been finalized!

Team Assignments: Please find the team rosters here.

  • Congratulations to Magnolia Stoll, who was the Number 1 overall pick of this year's draft!
  • Important: If your swimmer is not listed, even though you registered, please let me know urgently so we can rectify the mistake immediately.

Communication: The Team Managers are now officially in charge of their respective teams. From this point forward, please communicate with them directly regarding team logistics, cheers, and any specific questions you may have.

The coaching staff is incredibly excited for the high energy and fun this event brings. To get everyone even more pumped up, we have a few additional highlights to share:

  1. Sanctioned Meet: This meet is officially sanctioned, meaning all times will count toward USA Swimming and championship cuts. We will also be using touchpads and backstroke wedges to ensure the competition is as fast as possible!
  2. Team Parade & Senior Recognition: On Saturday, May 30, before warm-ups, we will hold a Team Parade followed by a special Senior Recognition ceremony.
  3. Record-Breakers: Any swimmer who breaks a team record during the meet will be awarded a special prize!
  4. Team Spirit Award: We will be watching for the loudest and most supportive teams. A Team Spirit Award will be given to the team showing the most "cheer" during the distance events.
  5. The Mega Relays (850 Relays): Team Managers are required to participate in the Mega Relays on both Saturday and Sunday.
  6. The Championship Trophy: The highly coveted Championship Trophy will be awarded at the conclusion of Sunday's final event.

Let’s have fun and get excited for one of the best meets of the year. We can’t wait to see everyone on the deck!

Summer Schedule Update: New Practice Times!

Get ready for a great season! Our summer schedule officially kicks off the week of June 1st.

Please Note: Practice days and times will change for every single group. We have carefully redesigned the schedule to provide excellent training opportunities for every group across the club. We ask that you check the new timetable now and make your summer adjustments accordingly.

You can view our updated [Summer Timetable here] and our [Full Meet Calendar here].

Important Update: Mills Morning Hours

We are in the final stages of confirming our morning slots at Mills. Our goal is to provide the best possible environment for our swimmers, but please be aware of the following:

  • Current Status: We are pushing for a 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM slot (same as last year); however, there is a distinct possibility these practices may shift to 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM.
  • What is Confirmed: All practice days, afternoon hours, and locations currently listed on the website are accurate and ready for your planning.
  • Pending Confirmation: We are awaiting the final "green light" on the Mills morning hours and will update the website and newsletter the moment it is finalized.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we work to ensure a successful summer for every athlete. We’re looking forward to a fantastic season.
