Service Hour Check-In & Policy Reminder

As we approach the end of the season, please review your family's service hours. Per club service hour policy, all unworked hours will be automatically billed to your payment method on file on August 1st.

How to check your hours:

  1. Log in to the PST website.
  2. Go to My Account → Account Info.
  3. Click on the Service Hour tab.

If you notice any missing hours that you have already worked, please contact our Service Hour Coordinator, Rafael, to get it resolved.

Opportunities & Meet Policy:

We have several upcoming home and local meets, which are fantastic opportunities to get those remaining hours in! As a reminder, our policy states that if your swimmer is registered to compete in a meet, you are still required to work a meet job, even if you have already completed your seasonal service hour minimum. Thank you for your cooperation and support on deck!

Note on Monthly Dues: 10-Month Payment Plan

As a reminder, the final standard monthly dues payment of the season was processed on June 1st. Because PST operates on a 10-month payment plan, there will be no monthly dues charged on July 1st or August 1st for the vast majority of our families.

Important Exception: Our Green Group families will have their final billing processed on July 1st to align with their specific schedule.

For full details regarding our seasonal billing schedules, please refer to the financial policy section of the PST Handbook.

4th of July: Piedmont Parade

PST families are welcome to join in marching in Piedmont’s 4th of July Parade for the third year in a row! Let’s share our team spirit with the greater Piedmont community!

This year, we will have a motorized “Fish” float leading our swimming school of fish as we march. We welcome everyone that wants to deck out their bike, scooter or stroller as a FISH (piranha?) to do so! Groups are encouraged to meet up and prepare one or more of these mini-fish floats together. Walkers should bring Bubble machines to fill the air with bubbles and individually wrapped Swedish Fish to hand out (no throwing candy!)

July 4th Parade Details

  • When: Meet at 9:30am
  • Location: The team will meet at the Carnazzo’s house at 150 Highland Avenue for delicious Snow Cones before lining up for the parade at 10:30
  • Bring: Bubble machines, fish floats on wheels, Swedish fish
  • Wear: PST gear! T-shirts, swimsuits, parkas, hats etc. Dress for the weather.

For younger swimmers 9 and under, please plan for one parent or older sibling to walk with them. Email Kira at community@piedmontswimteam.org with questions.

RESL Championships

120 Swimmers have registered so far. Please register on FastSwims ASAP so we can finalize relays.

We will be racing with a uniform team theme and everyone will wear our white swim caps for prelim sessions, and pink caps for finals. Using other caps, even loosely team-themed caps such as our Club Championships custom color caps, is not allowed.

If your swimmer has lost or ripped either of those caps, please contact Pooja at poojasethi@gmail.com this week about replacing them.

All-Star Selection: Ben Rebro & Emily Cramer

Huge congratulations to Ben Rebro (Gold Group) and Emily Cramer (Platinum Group) for their incredible achievements! Ben has been selected to represent Pacific Swimming at this year's Summer Western Zone Age Group Championships in Boise, Idaho, competing in the 11-12 Boys category. Emily has been named the 1st Alternate for the highly competitive 11-12 Girls category.

Earning a spot on the Pacific Swimming All Star Team requires meeting exceptionally fast time standards and places these athletes among the top developmental swimmers in the nation. We are incredibly proud of both Ben and Emily for their hard work and dedication.

Go PST!

Congratulations again to all of our award recipients from last season! If you received an award, please return it to a coach ASAP. We need these returned immediately so we can begin preparing for our upcoming annual Awards Banquet. Thank you for your prompt help!
