October 26th - Block Party Meet:

Meet registration for the Block Party is open on Fastswims and will close Oct 18. Swimmers need to register for ALL 4 events in their age group. Meet jobs will open Mon, Oct 21. Pls see preview of jobs as this is a hosted meet. Volunteering will give you a chance to be more engaged with the PST community! This will be a fun meet giving our swimmers of all ages and families from different swim groups a chance to get to know each other.

This Week:
Today, Sun, 10/13:	Platinum, Gold, and Silver dryland is canceled due to staffing shortage. Please pick up your swimmers at 10am.
Mon, 10/14:	Indigenous Peoples’ Day. ECCL is closed and Silver and Gold practices are canceled.
Sat & Sun 10/19-20:	LAC C/B/BB Meet. 76 PST swimmers are registered to compete. Meet Jobs will open on Monday, 10/14, at 8p.m. and close at midnight on Wednesday, 10/16, at midnight. All open jobs will be assigned on Thursday morning. Warm-Up Times @ 7:30am: Gold, Platinum, and Titanium @ 8am: Silver and Bronze @ 8:20am: Blue and Green
Sat, 10/19:	Mills is closed! Green, Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum practices are canceled. Titanium to swim at MSC from 9-11am.
Sun, 10/20:	Mills is closed and our Coaches are at Livermore meet. Blue, Bronze, Silver, and Gold practices are canceled. Platinum and Titanium to swim at ECCL from 12-1:30pm.

11/1:	Day after Halloween! Morning practices at Mills are canceled.

12/16-1/1:	PST on Winter Break. All practices are canceled.
12/27-1/4:	Winter Training Camp.

This Week’s Top Tip:

It is beneficial if your swimmer gets to practice 5-10 minutes early whenever possible. For us coaches, it helps us to connect with our swimmers, start mobility routines, and assign lanes for a productive session. Every time swimmers show up a little late, even just 2 minutes, our focus is taken from the session, lanes might have to be re-assigned, and most importantly, your athlete will miss out on talking and connecting with us and might miss crucial pre-practice information that we are delivering to our groups. In other words, be 5-10 minutes early for every session, no matter your group, to get the most out of our coaching staff and practices. Thank you!

Important - Parking, drop-off, and pick-up at MSC:

PARKING at Montclair Swim Club: Do not park in the STAFF ONLY spaces. These 3 spaces between the entrance and the bike rack are only for Staff and Repair & Maintenance.

PLEASE refrain from stopping in the street on Woodhaven Way or near the Staff only parking area - even for drop-offs or pick-ups.

You are encouraged to park in the extra parking along Thornhill Drive and to walk your child into the pool area.

Important - Driving into Mills:
The entrance passes at Mills are no longer valid; every visitor must show their ID going through the security gate. Please be prepared for the line to get into Mills to be extra long, and leave 15-20 min earlier to ensure your swimmers are still on time for practice.
