New Family Registration: Green Group
PST is a premier swim team with a rigorous training program. For new families joining PST in our entry-level group, Green, we realize the commitment to a competitive swim team might not be fully appreciated. As a way to support and encourage new swimmers to discover their love for swimming, we are offering shorter terms for Green group families. Terms run from:
- August 24 through November 17, 2024 (12 weeks)
- March 8 through May 31, 2025 (12 weeks)
- June 1 through July 27, 2025 (8 weeks)
Swim fees will be charged monthly. However, families will be committed financially for the full length of the term. Families who leave prior to the end of the term will not be released from their financial commitment for the current term. Families may leave the team after each term if they decide PST’s competitive swim program is not the right fit for their swimmer. Families who decide to leave the team must notify PST 10 days before the end of term with a written notice to: headcoach@piedmontswimteam.org and psttreasury@piedmontswimteam.org
New Family Registration: Blue Group
PST is a premier swim team with a rigorous training program. For new families joining PST in our younger group, Blue, we realize the commitment to a competitive swim team might not be fully appreciated. As a way to support and encourage new swimmers to discover their love for swimming, we are offering a trial period to new families joining the Blue group. The trial period runs from mid-August to February. Swim fees will be charged monthly. In December and January, swimmers and their guardian(s) will meet with their swim coach to discuss their swimmer’s goals and decide if PST's competitive swim program is the correct environment for their swimmer to thrive. For families continuing with PST, payment for the second half of the season can be paid in one lump sum or families can continue to be charged monthly. This family trial is only available to swimmers who are new to PST and who participate in our Blue group. Starting in year 2, families are contractually liable to pay for the entire season when they register. Families who leave prior to the end of their trial period will be liable for the remaining balance of monthly payments for the trial period.
For new Blue swimmers who join after PST's February tryout, the trial period runs March to July, with decisions to continue with the team being finalized in May/June and registration occuring during the start of the new season registration window which typically opens mid-June.
