PST Club Championships: Registration closes by end of day TODAY!

The future most fun meet of the Season! Registration closes today on our website!

Note: mention in the note section if your swimmer needs to leave early or can only attend 2 out of 3 days.

Summer TimeTable - June 2nd until August 3rd:

Updated summer practice timetable is posted. We were able to add LCM practices on Tues/Thurs for Titanium and FW Qualifiers at Chabot College. You can visit our website for your swimmer's schedule.

Our summer practice sessions will begin on June 2nd and continue until our summer break on August the 4th.

Today, Sunday, May 4th: Mills Pool is Closed. All practices at Mills are cancelled as the pool is closed for their Swim-A-Mile event.

Today, Sunday, May 4th: Piedmont Rec Hosts their Play Like a Girl Event. 10 - 2 at Witter Field

No practice for certain groups at Mills (ECCL practices are on) - come try lots of sports!

Friday, May 9th: Platinum and Titanium PM practices are cancelled. Due to NCS, Platinum and Titanium afternoon practices are cancelled.

Sunday, May 11th: Gold and Silver dryland is cancelled. Due to the SRVA meet, dryland for Silver and Gold is cancelled.

Saturday and Sunday, May 10-11: C/B/BB LCM (host: SRVA). 31 PST swimmers were able to register.

Sunday, May 18th: Silver and Gold to swim at ECCL from 10:30-12pm. Due to the MST Pentathlon Meet, Silver and Gold will swim at ECCL from 10:30-12pm.

Sunday, May 18: 14&Under Pentathlon (host: MST). 57 PST swimmers were able to register.

Safe Sport:

If you weren’t able to attend the in-person Safe Sport training at the beginning of our season, there are two ways you can get your required training done. Reminder that PST requires one parent/guardian from each family, and all athletes 13 and older to complete the training each season:

Important Dates, Cancellations, and Practice Updates:

Monday, August 4th: Start of PST’s Summer Break.

Meets:

May 30th through June 1st: PST Club Championships (location: Mills College). Everyone should attend.

June 20-22: Reno Gamble. Meet will be in their brand new 50 meter indoor facility. See below for more details.

July 11-13: 14&Under Age Group Championships (host: SRN). All qualifiers should attend.

July 18th through July 20th: RESL Team Competition (location: Chabot College, Hayward). The most fun meet of the whole year for young and old. Make sure your swimmer can participate

July 23rd through July 26th: Future Championships (location: Sacramento, CA). All qualifiers should attend.

July 31st through August 3rd: LCM FarWestern Championships (host: SCSC). All qualifiers should attend.

Meet Registration Pro Tip:

You can opt in to email alerts in your FastSwim account and by doing so, never miss a meet registration again.  

Simply go to your settings in the top right corner, click “notifications” and click the box for “Pacific Swimming: Zone 2” to get email notifications for all Zone 2 meets. (Note: you will get emails for all meets in the Zone regardless of if PST is attending.) FastSwims does not send ancillary emails so the only messages you will get are those for meet registration opening.

Additionally, you can plan your registration in advance by clicking on the “meet sheet” next to the “online entries” link on the PacSwim site in advance of registration opening to talk to your swimmer about the events they will be swimming.

Did you know that PST also uploads photos to our website?  If you or your swimmers take photos at meets or team events, please send them to photo@piedmontswimteam.org. They will be “Safe Sport” checked and uploaded to the website.

Important - Parking Reminders at PST Facilities:

Dear PST Families, 

It goes without saying that we rely on positive relationships with the different communities whose pools we use for practices.

It is a shared responsibility to maintain these relationships, and we need parents to follow the parking requirements for each facility. 

Please refer to specific instructions for each pool location in this document, along with screenshots indicating unavailable parking/access in red, and available parking in green.
