Important - Parking Reminders at PST Facilities:

Dear PST Families,

It goes without saying that we rely on positive relationships with the different communities whose pools we use for practices.

It is a shared responsibility to maintain these relationships, and we need parents to follow the parking requirements for each facility.

Please refer to specific instructions for each pool location in this document, along with screenshots indicating unavailable parking/access in red, and available parking in green.

Thank you for adhering to these requirements.

2025 PST Swim-A-Thon

LIVE on the website

What is a Swim-A-Thon?

Swim-A-Thon is a USA Swimming Foundation approved fundraiser used by swim teams all over the United States to raise money for their respective club. To raise money for Swim-A-Thon, swimmers receive pledges and donations from family members, friends, neighbors, and local businesses.

Please join us for our first annual Swim-A-Thon! A Swim-A-Thon is a great opportunity to bring our community together for some fun while supporting our team. The Swim-A-Thon will take place for all groups at Mills on 3/29.

Spring and Summer Schedule

As you plan your and your swimmer's spring and summer, please refer to our meet calendar for important dates, such as swim-a-thon, club championships, Reno Meet, RESL Meet, etc.

We hope to have as many swimmers participate in these super fun team events as possible.

Got Photos?

Did you know that PST archives team photos in addition to posting them to our Instagram account?

If you or your swimmers take photos at meets or team events, please send them to photo@piedmontswimteam.org. They will be “Safe Sport” checked and uploaded to the website.

To view the pictures currently posted, check them out here!

Important Dates, Cancellations, and Practice Updates:

2/17:

President’s Day. All practices are canceled.

3/8:

Team Photos. 9:00 - 12:00 at Mills. All-team photo at 10am. Sign-ups for individual photos are coming soon. Swimmers should expect to come early or stay late for the team photos, as well as attend their regular practice times.

3/29:

Swim-a-Thon All-day Event - Save the Date.

Please note: this is the first Saturday of OUSD’s spring break. For OUSD families who would like to participate, please plan accordingly. We’re hoping for high participation in this fun team event!

This Week’s Top Tip:

For parents helping to break down and/or return swimmer canopies from meets, please make sure each canopy is 1) packed up with the feet on the bottom of the grey bag, 2) has 4 side panels stored in the outer pocket of each bag, and 3) has 4 bungee cords inside the bag (picture shows them tied outside but with new bags - we keep them inside). This will help keep our equipment in good shape and make set up easier for the next meet.  If you notice missing parts or damage on any of the equipment, like broken wheels or issues with bent/broken legs as equipment was being disassembled - please message Vanessa Gage at operations@piedmontswimteam.org or text 917-279-0669 so we can repair
